About

I'm Sorcha, an Art Therapist and Counselor with six years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families. I use somatic, expressive and trauma-informed approaches to growth and healing. I offer talk therapy as well as art therapy: using drawing, painting, ceramics, textiles poetry, creative writing, and other modalities to assist with emotional expression, the exploration of inner worlds and accessing flow states. My approach is client-centered and I shape sessions collaboratively with those I work with. I believe in using the systematic and structural to understand distress, trauma, and conflict.

I am available for school visits or at the Iceberg Foundation on Thursdays afternoons at 123 Paisley St, Footscray VIC 3011.

You can book a free phone call to see if we'll work well together before organizing our first session, please book a phone call here.

Group programs will be available from July—express interest in group art therapy sessions here.

I hold a Masters of Art Therapy and am Professional member of ANZACATA
